Yo Gabba Gabba’s exotica opening

My son and I are both addicted to the new Nickelodeon show, “Yo Gabba Gabba!,” developed for the channel by members of the indie-favorite band “The Aquabats.”

The show’s opening sequence has a breif segment of exotica music as DJ Lance Rock walks onscreen — I have to wonder if this isn’t a nod to the “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” opening sequence, which knocked off Martin Denny’s “Quiet Villiage.”
