Stash of found Stockton Islander tiki mugs for sale

Stockton Islander MugsTiki Talk reader Boyd came across a huge stash of mugs from the now defunct Stockton Islander restaurant at an estate sale recently.

Boyd would like to sell the mugs but doesn’t want to go through the hassle of selling on eBay or boxing and shipping items. He’s located in Lodi, California, and is asking $700 for the whole collection.

Give him a call at (209) 368-2677 or email him at pbfyffe@sbcglobal.net if you’re interested. Tell him that you heard about it on Tiki Talk!

Umm - Swanky is no neophye to Tiki. He is extremly knowledgeable. Go to www.tikicentral.com and checkout his particpation. He's been a member since 2002, has 3,180 posts, has his own Tiki web site, and has been nice enought to put your listing on his page.

If ever there was someone who isn't a 'brain surgeon', its Boyd Fyffe.

Check out www.ooga-mooga for the definitive source on Tiki mugs.

I don't know who Swanky is,but I gaurantee you he's no brain surgeon. Since I got into this some of these mugs sell for hundreds of $'s and where he thinks he is knowledgeable about Tiki's is hillarous. Thanks Swampy your a real JOKE. Boyd
  • Hmm. $700? There are 51 mugs. 48 of which are $5-20 items. The exceptions are the two bowls, maybe, and the Bumatay mug. Sell the Bumabtay on Ebay and that's your money. Otherwise these are not very valuable. That price is not a real bargain, but, yes, you could pay that and make a lot more selling them one at a time on Ebay at an average of probably $10-15 each, excepting the Bumatay.
