The 8th Annual Southern California Ukulele Festival will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Cerritos, California.
Highlights include:
• Continuous Stage Entertainment with performances by Joe Souza, Derick Sebastian, and Gerald Ross
• Up to 50 hours of workshops—Pick and choose your favorites.
• Arts and Crafts: Lei making, gourds. Check the website for a list of classes
• Workshops & Demonstrations: All level Ukulele workshops, Songs, Hula, Slack Key Guitar, and Hawaiian Steel Guitar
• Hula and Ukulele workshops available.
• Vendors: Jewelry, Festival T-Shirts, Clothes, Music, Instruments, CDs
• Food will be available for purchase
• Purchase opportunity drawing tickets for many wonderful prizes. The proceeds go to the Ukes for Kids Program.
Tickets range from $15-$40 depending on the number of event attended
