Sam’s Seafood reopens to rave reviews

Sam’s SeafoodWhen Sam’s Seafood in Huntinton Beach, California closed down last year, long-time patrons were sad to see another classic tiki bar/restaurant wiped off the face of the map. Rumors of the restaurant’s purchase fueled speculation of what was to come — and fortunately for all, the best elements of the location were preserved (the decor and drinks) while the worst have been fixed (the food, which had been described as lackluster at best).

New owner Josh Peasley and Executive Chef Thomas Ortega have skillfully made the “new” Sam’s Seafood far better than the original, according to OC Weekly restaurant critic Edwin Goei.
