Saturday while vending at the NFFC Convention at Walt Disney World, a cast member noticed the items I had created by the artist Shag for Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary. According to the rumors he’s heard, Walt Disney World has contracted Shag to create a line of merchandise for the Florida parks, to be released sometime next year.
Cast members are notoriously unreliable when it comes to rumors, but without giving away information that could compromise the sources’ employment, he probably heard it from the right person in the right department.
Until an announcement is made, I’m keeping my fingers crosses for some cool Tiki Room merchandise.
