Former bartender saving her way to tiki bar ownership

Saving UpDenise “Thrift-a-Rama” is a former New Orleans bartender who desperately wants to start her own tiki bar — so much so, that she’s committed her life to saving up to make the purchase.

To do so, she’s funneling extra money she earns from selling her possessions on eBay, crafting on etsy, and part of her freelance salary as well. You can follow her progress on her blog at savingadvice.com, a community focused on members helping members set goals to save money.
