The last of the fantastic Enchanted Tiki Room merchandise designed by Kevin Kidney & Jody Daily for Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary goes on sale tonight at midnight — an illuminated figure (a.k.a., a lamp) in the shape of Tangaroa, Father of the Gods.
The previous pieces from this collection have been receiving rave reviews from fans. A reproduction of aloha shirts worn by attraction hosts in the ’60s sold out in less than 2 hours.
The Tangaroa lamp, and some of the earlier merchandise, is available through Disney Direct. The lamp retails for $199 and is catalog number 95572-F25.
If you’re really serious about getting one, your best bet is to call Disney Direct at 1-800-237-5751 at midnight EST and place your order, as the website is often behind by a number of hours.
UPDATE: Ex-Imagineer and all around cool guy Christoper Merritt has hinted that Kevin & Jody have been working on more Tiki Room merchandise to be released this upcoming spring. Start saving!
