Disney’s Polynesian Resort offers souvineers mugs again

2007 Disney Polynesian Resort MugsIt’s been at least 5 years since the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World has offered any kind of imprinted souvineer mugs or glasses, which is incredible given the sheer number of double-faced frosted glass tiki mugs the resort put into circulation through the ’70s and ’80s.

Finally, the merchandising department has started to wake up and a few items are available for sale: a burlwood-looking plastic travel coffee mug ($24.00), a ceramic coffee mug ($12.00), a hurricane glass ($12), and a mini hurricane shotglass (price unknown).

All of these items are available in the resort’s gift shop, Boutiki, along with a clear glass version of the Poly’s well-known “two faced” glass mug, which sadly carries no imprint.
