Disney Stores roll out Tiki Kingdom merchandise

I got a pleasant surprise walking through the mall over the weekend — The Disney Store has kicked off a summer merchandise collection called “Tiki Kingdom” that mixes the tropics and tiki with classic Disney characters.

There’s all sorts of items to buy: housewares like the plates, bowls, dishes, and cocktail mixer shown here, plus clothing items for toddlers through adults in the style. About a dozen Disney characters have also been turned into tikis on series of t-shirts — my fiance gleefully suggested that I pick up a Jack Skellington shirt. Several more clothing items will be shipped to the stores next week.

For a fan of Disney and tiki, it’s going to be a great summer indeed. The merchandise is not available online at this time.
