Dallas Trader Vic’s scheduled to reopen Feb. 16

Trader Vic\'s Dallas locationTrader Vic’s restaurant at the Hilton Inn Dallas has been closed since 1988, but is actually getting a new lease on life due to the property’s redevelopment. The restaurant had operated for 40 years at the location, but sat in a time warp for 17 years behind closed doors.

Before the Hilton was demolished to make way for the new Hotel Palomar, investors in the new Trader Vic’s painstakingly photographed every detail of the interior, dismantling it to be reassembled later to it’s original form once the new hotel was built.

The restaurant is scheduled to reopen on February 16.
