Enchanted Tiki Room Gathering of the LegendsTo celebrate the release of a 3 DVD and 1 CD set on the history of the Enchanted Tiki Room and Tropical Serenade, The Magic Makers are holding “Enchanted Tiki Room: A Gathering of the Legends,” an event featuring appearances by Kevin Kidney, Wally Boag, Jeff Burke, Bob Gurr, Charles Boyer, and David Bird.

Band “The Agents of Voodoo” will play, and there will be door prizes, raffles for Tiki Room-inspired art, and tropical snacks and drinks.

Tickets are $30 each.

After a several month hiatus LUSHY is getting back into action, and will be performing 2 sets at Seattle’s newest bar in Tiki-kitsch, Hula Hula, adjacent to Tini Bigs, in the space that used to occupy Watertown and The Romper Room. Come partake in the exotic, bossa-pop sounds of LUSHY, whilst lounging below lit blowfish, bamboo, and fish floats, embibing a tropical drink and nibbling Polynesian pupus.
