More incredible Enchanted Tiki Room merchandise coming in April!

My head is spinning, and for once it’s not because of a poorly-made Mai Tai!
DisneyShopping.com (formerly the Disney Store) will be releasing another wave of Enchanted Tiki Room merchandise to celebrate Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary in April. The first two brought a bunch of neat stuff, including a reproduction of the hosts’ aloha shirts and a life-size barker bird. Very cool.
This time they’ve outdone themselves by creating full-size reproductions of the attraction’s tiki drummers pulled from the original moulds, painted in the 1963 color scheme. Limited to 1000, the drummer is different on each side (so of course, you’ll need two!). This is got to be the coolest thing ever—a little slice of Rolly Crump for your home. $179.
They’re also coming out with a green version of the aloha shirt (along with a dress too). $99 each, edition of 500.
Oh, it’s going to be an expensive April.

The Bikini Tiki Bar Factory makes some really attractive, incredibly durable outdoor tiki bars. Made from solid pressure-treated pine with roof supports built from 3″ diameter beams, these bars are built to last.
I’ve always loved dashboard hula girls, so when I fell under the spell of tiki culture I knew I’d have to get one for my car.
I got all excited when I saw the name of this product, thinking that I’d finally have a way to attract tiki birds to my backyard. Then I remembered that they’re firmly bolted into the ceiling at Disneyland.
The Crazed Mug’s debut CD, “My Mug Collection” was my personal favorite from last year. Critical response has been so good that it’s been nominated in the 9th Annual Hawaii Music Awards in the “Island Contemporary” category.
Target stores have been bringing tiki to the masses for the past couple of years, and 2006 seems to be no exception.
Late last year I blogged about Earnie Ball’s tiki guitar picks. Now the company has produced a t-shirt in the same style.
